We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our food service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily food service operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Manage and train staff, including interviewing, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations.
Oversee food preparation processes to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Develop menus in collaboration with chefs to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain operational flow.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Implement training programs for staff on hospitality best practices and food service protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Previous experience in supervising kitchen staff or cooks is preferred.
