Job Requirements: Reporting to the CEO, the primary objectives of the Food Services Coordinator is to ensure the production of high-quality food for our Residents and to manage and lead the food services team. Participate in budget control through monitoring food and supply costs and minimizing waste. Order food and supplies and complete month end inventory. Develop menus, standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality of our food. The Food Service Coordinator will ensure the department staffing levels are appropriate to meet the needs of the Residents and the current budget. Hire, orientate and schedule all food service Team Members Job Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Must have a Food Handlers Certificate \xc2\xb7 Compassion, Common Sense and Empathy required \xc2\xb7 Strong team orientation \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates a positive, flexible work style and approach to the implementation of change \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills \xc2\xb7 Must be able to communicate in English (written, verbal, reading) to a minimum High School Level. French language skills are an asset. Any other external body decoration, including hair, must not be frightening to a frail senior with dementia. \xc2\xb7 You must be legally allowed to work in Canada \xc2\xb7 You must be in good physical health as this job requires lifting, sitting, standing and walking. \xc2\xb7 Must be available to work on weekends \xc2\xb7 Successful candidate must be fully COVID vaccinated \xc2\xb7 Should there be an outbreak, must be able to carry out their duties. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $35,425.53-$49,356.52 per year Benefits:
