Seeking Energetic, Mature and Career Oriented Assistant Manager with at least one year experience in a supervisory role in Subway or Similar restaurant environment within the fast food industry. Candidates must have outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills in English.
As an Assistant Manager you implement supervisory skills and apply them to the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes managing staff, assisting in hiring, training and scheduling of employees. You will learn how to handle incidents that may occur at the restaurant and to set a good example for other team members.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, cleanliness and inventory control standards are maintained. In addition, the Assistant Manager supervises staff and maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Exceptional Customer Service is a major component of this position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Assistant Manager performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor as outlined in the Shift Manager job description. As needed, performs and supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operation standards are maintained. Coordinates and supervises staff so that standards of cleanliness are maintained as outlined in SUBWAY Operations Manual. Manages and trains staff of approximately 5 to 10. Assigns, oversees and evaluates work. Performs paperwork duties as required. Plays a major roll in controlling inventory, food cost and labour expenses. Inspects equipment throughout the shift to ensure they are in proper working order. Resolves customers complaints. Works any station in the restaurant as needed. Completes University of SUBWAY courses as directed.
