Job Summary

T-Brothers Food & Trading Ltd. is seeking a Food Safety Specialist (QA/QC) to join our team. The position will be based in Port-Coquitlam, BC. You will be primarily responsible for Food Safety duties for the food production line (Kimchi).

s:

Participate in compliance with Food Safety, CFIA, and HACCP (if applicable) and ensure food safety and quality are kept

Discuss with managers to meet food safety and quality, provide additional assistance as requested

Document reports and assist with all administrative functions associated with this role

Lead and support third-party and internal audits (e.g., CFIA, HACCP, food safety inspections) and follow up on corrective actions

Develop, review, and maintain Food Safety Programs (HACCP plans, sanitation programs, allergen controls, traceability systems, etc.)

Confidently produce and modify food safety plans, sanitation plans, and other documentation

Other duties as assigned

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications

Legally eligible to work in Canada

Completed post-secondary education in Food Sciences or related

Minimum 2 years of work experience in Food Safety Administration activities

Strong understanding of food safety expectations for food production operations

Driver's license (class 5)

Must be computer proficient (MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate in Korean is an asset

Work Setting:

Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm

Interact with all levels of personnel and external inspectors

Location: #120-1658 Industrial Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC
