Job Overview

Flavour Art North America is seeking a part-time Food Production Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of food manufacturing, and cleaning to ensure efficient production operations. Available hours are 9am - 5pm Tuesday - Thursday.

Duties

- Assisting in staging of materials
- Operate basic machinery to create finished goods
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
- Filling containers to optimal levels
- Follow food safety protocols throughout the production process and able to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday

- Other tasks and maintenance assigned by Management

Skills

- Knowledge of food safety practices and food processing procedures
- Accurate and high attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and quantities
- Being consistent in your work output
- Able to learn quickly and apply your knowledge
- Being organized and maintaining a clean working environment

Knowledge in the food industry is a plus. Also working in a GMP, HACCP, ISO certified environment is beneficial. This position also has a lot of physical lifting of 55lbs finished containers throughout the day.
