Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring a clean and efficient food service environment. You will be responsible for food preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and dining area to meet sanitation standards. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with cashiering duties and operating POS systems is a plus. A background in serving or kitchen experience will be beneficial. Pay: $17.20-$22.23 per hour
