Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented full time and part time Food Preparation Workers to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will assist in meal preparation, handle food items, and support the overall kitchen operations.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist cooks in meal preparation by following recipes and instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage spaces. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure all food items are handled properly. Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and ovens safely and effectively. Help with the cleaning of dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
