Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Your main duties will include taking orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area. Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner Clean,peel,slice and trim food stuffs using manual and electric appliances Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a cash register Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, milkshakes and other beverages. Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times. Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties Serve customers at counters or buffet tables Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, food preparation, and safety regulations Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating change
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with coworkers
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly manner Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Benefits:
