Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that food is prepared and served in accordance with safety and sanitation standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle transactions accurately will contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices in a kitchen setting is essential. Experience with serving food and beverages is a plus; training will be provided as necessary.
