We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves food preparation, cashiering, and providing excellent customer service in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area, washroom. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant preferred. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to sanitation practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
