Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Counter Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness in the food preparation area. This role is essential in delivering a positive dining experience for our customers while efficiently managing food service operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha and Micros, to process customer orders accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food counter, kitchen area, and dining space. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the quality of food served. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or a quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with Aloha or Micros is preferred. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
