Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently Manage cash handling and ensure accurate transactions Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards Experience with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations Ability to operate POS systems effectively, particularly Micros POS Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
