We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food preparation and service tasks. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food products.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with cashiering duties, including operating POS systems like Micros POS is a plus. A passion for food preparation and serving others is essential.
