We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders and payments. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation. Provide assistance to customers as needed, answering questions about menu items and specials. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.

Skills

Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help others and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
