Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment transactions. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, including roles in restaurants or similar environments. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience with cashiering duties and operating POS systems is desirable. Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
