Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and dining area in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Adhere to food safety protocols during food handling and preparation processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food products.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with cashiering duties, including familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
