Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety standards. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or food industry roles is preferred Restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Basic math skills for handling cash and making change Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience in serving or cashiering roles will be advantageous
