Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry service, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Restock supplies and ensure all food handling procedures adhere to sanitation regulations Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Good time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
