Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. This position involves overseeing food preparation and service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department to ensure efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Train, mentor, and manage team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the food service operation. Implement food safety protocols to guarantee safe handling of all food products.

Experience

Proven experience in food service or restaurant management is essential. Strong background in supervising staff with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food handling practices. Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. Barista experience is a plus.
