Season position is a flexible position throughout the golf course that runs from mid April - mid October. With opportunity to continue into winter season for Banquet/Event serving. Employee will be required to be able to move fluidly between all three positions;

Part-time/Full-time Hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: starting @ minimum wage - $11.65 per hour

RESTAURANT:
This position serves customers by providing information to help food and beverage selections, presenting orders and maintaining dining ambiance. In our goal to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Take orders and serve all food and beverage requests, noting all special dietary needs and requests.
- Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation.
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables in the dining room & lounge area utilizing the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and service equipment, following sanitation, Covid-19 policies, safety and alcoholic beverage policies.
- Control customer checks and secure proper payment, following and completing proper cash handling procedures.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Assisting all teammates on the floor during peak hours of operation to create a team work environment.
- Perform assigned side work at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift to be completed and checked by Glendale's Supervisor and/or Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of supplies.
- Able to follow all GGCC steps of service, and all company policies.
- Work well alone during down time, a self starter and able to find projects that will aid in the success of service in the restaurant.
- Must possess a valid Serving it Safe certificate to maintain employment.
BEVERAGE CART/KIOSK/PATIO:
This position drives the beverage cart to different areas of the golf course to serve food and beverages to guests. As well as serving on our patio out of our Kiosk location. In our quest to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take orders on the golf course and serve all food and beverage requests.
- Multitask by serving out of the kiosk as well as BBQ/Patio Area.
- Maintain cleanliness and set up a successful service area of the Patio area.
- Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
- Secure proper payment and use proper cash handling procedures using the POS system.
- Perform various side duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of beverage cart and service equipment.
- Able to drive and operate a Beverage Cart safely and responsibly as to the rules of the golf course.
- Report all equipment problems to Supervisor or Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of supplies following GGCC opening and closing procedures.
- Able to follow all GGCC steps of service, and all company policies.
- Must be able to drive a beverage cart using extreme caution.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License, and Serving it Safe certificate to maintain employment.
BANQUET SERVER/SET-UP:
This position serves food and beverage items to wedding & event customer guests in a timely, professional manner while maintaining dining ambiance. In our goal to become the leader in the industry, it is paramount that you provide superior service to our guests.
