We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a bustling restaurant or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including food, serving, and bar services
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Manage POS systems such as Squirrel for order processing and cash handling
Lead, train, and mentor team members to uphold service standards and foster a positive work environment
Interview and hire new staff members, providing ongoing training and performance evaluations
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of supplies
Enforce health and safety regulations across the restaurant, kiosks & dining areas
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas in accordance with hospitality standards
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the establishment
Experience
Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
Previous Supervisory, server, bartender. management skills an asset
Experience operating POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of food safety protocols and restaurant management best practices
Previous restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Prior experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members is preferred
