Job Summary:
We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at a busy restaurant in Saanich, B.C. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and providing excellent customer service to our guests. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities:
Tasks

Greet customers Table order service Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Take phone orders Processing and entering online order Prepare beverages accordingly Load buspans and trays Operate glassware and flatware Place dishes in storage area Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas Stock beverage refrigerators Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Must possess Food Safe Level 1 certificate and Serve it Right certificate
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
