Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. You will assist in food preparation, handle cash transactions, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to guarantee food safety. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food products. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Experience in food preparation and handling within a kitchen environment is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Cash handling experience is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and accountability. Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.80-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
