Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to creating a positive dining experience for our guests. We are looking for polite and professional Breakfast and Banquet Servers who will be responsible for greeting, assisting and serving guests during breakfast service and meetings and events. As a Server, you will help assist with preparation and clean up, serve guests, and respond to questions, complaints, and requests.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and maintain a safe working environment. Preparing tables, serving stations or buffet tables for service Running food from banquet kitchen to the function tables/area Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables, serving stations or reception style Cleaning up after events

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a hospitality-focused setting. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time Ability to follow instructions Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Must have Smart Choices certification (responsible beverage service) or be willing to get it once hired

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.80-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
