Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Your role involves providing prompt and courteous service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and collaborating with other team members to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction
: Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring any dietary restrictions or allergies are noted and communicated to the kitchen.Order Management
: Enter orders promptly into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with service standards. Monitor tables to ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and address any issues promptly.Preparation and Cleanliness
: Set up dining areas before service, including arranging tables, refilling condiments, and ensuring cleanliness. Clear tables promptly and maintain a tidy and organized environment throughout the shift.Team Collaboration
: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service. Assist with restocking supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and glassware.Upselling and Billing
: Suggest additional menu items to enhance the dining experience. Prepare accurate bills and process payments efficiently.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$17.25 per hour
