Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in various food preparation and service tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for cash handling. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Cantonese and mandarin is preferred
