Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages Address customers' complaints or concerns Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Describe and advise on wine selection Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware Perform sensory evaluation of wines Serve food and beverages Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff Provide customer service
Requirements:
Education: No formal education is required
Experience:
Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Overtime required, Standing for extended periods
Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player
Language: Intermediate level of English is required
Salary: $16.50 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.

Important Information:
The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. The work schedule is 6 am - 2:30 pm, 2 pm - 10:30 pm, and 4 pm - 12:30 am. Weekend work and overtime will be required. Please note that we are located in a rural area.
