Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a clean and efficient food service environment. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of our establishment, contributing to a positive dining experience for all guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor food safety practices, including proper food handling and storage techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and helping others. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 40 per week
