Job Description

As an employee of Broken Spanish, your role is greater than just making great Mexican-inspired beverages or delivering great-tasting food to the table. You are the guests' first impression of a Broken Spanish experience, and you set the tone and expectation for what is about to come.

The Server is responsible for the overall dining experience of each guest. The Server plays a key role in creating the vibe and an environment where our guest feels relaxed and engaged. Be yourself, have fun and create a memorable and lasting impression whereby every one of our guests cannot wait to come back. Your passion for the guest experience is the cornerstone of our success.

Server Key Roles



Be enthusiastic, professional, and hospitable. Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return by providing a hospitable guest experience. Provide the guest suggestions/recommendations for food and beverages based on their wants or needs. Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed. Adherence to operational standards Dining room and service side station cleanliness, including all equipment, tools, and surfaces

Duties & Responsibilities



Knowledgeable about Broken Spanish including all products, menu's and promotions - be able to relay all information in appealing and informative manner to all guests Table service - taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen while following all standards as it pertains to each task Delivery of food and beverage to tables in the dining room and lounge Processing bills and taking payment Handling guest concerns with and without the support of the management team Providing the highest quality of service at all times in all guest interactions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
