Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner. Mix ingredients to create classic cocktails and innovative drink specials. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including checking identification for age verification. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Bartending experience is a plus; familiarity with cocktail recipes is desirable. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A passion for hospitality and creating enjoyable experiences for guests.
