Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all guests Take and process customer orders accurately using a POS system Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas Uphold proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience Potentially need to help with cleaning the restaurant/washroom or the dishes as well

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests Familiarity with sanitization practices to ensure a clean and safe work environment Understanding of basic math concepts for order processing and cash handling Certification in food safety is a plus but not required

Pay: $16.00 per hour
