Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Server to join our team. The Server will be responsible for providing guests with a welcoming dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and service. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.

Skills

Proven experience in the restaurant or food service industry, preferably as a server. Proficiency in using POS systems Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
