Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Food and Beverage, Conference Services, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Determine, establish, and implement service standards
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the banquet staff on a per shift basis
  • Ensure staff training programs are implemented and measured
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures that ensure all company standards are met
  • Cash out associates following cash handling procedures and investigate "over and shorts"
  • Maintain and monitor product levels to avoid product or supply shortages
  • Estimate, order and inspect supplies and
  • Ensure that all equipment is setup properly and operating efficiently
  • Assist associates with serving guests as business levels demand
  • Arrange for and ensure proper sequence of service for events
Think you have what it takes to be our Food and Beverage, Conference Services? We're committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role:
  • Minimum three years of cash, food and beverage service management required, preferably in a
  • high volume foodservice operation
  • Excellent customer relations, communication and problem solving skills
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Hospitality Management is an asset
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Must have current Food Safe Level 1 and Smart Serve certificates, as per provincial guidelines
  • Daytime hours, primarily M-F with flexibility for some evenings
