Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Operate the POS system for order processing and payment handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and kitchen. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Support serving staff during busy periods to enhance guest experiences. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of menu offerings.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Micros POS, is an asset. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to learn about Japanese cuisine and culture.
