Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our guests enjoy their dining experience by assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean environment. Your contributions will help uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining and kitchen spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an asset. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team setting.
