The Haines Mile Pub has been having it's busiest year ever, and it just keeps going! We're looking for a positive and upbeat FOH Supervisor to help us keep up & lead shifts!

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in food service. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, processing payments efficiently. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with restocking as needed. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices. Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
