Duties

Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing menu recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food handling and preparation processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally. Assist in bartending duties as needed, including preparing beverages and serving drinks. Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; training will be provided for those without prior experience. Cash handling experience is beneficial for managing transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player who can work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
