We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while managing the front-of-house team effectively.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
Train, mentor, and manage staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages professional growth.
Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for front-of-house staff.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with prior supervising experience in a hospitality setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is advantageous.
Background in hotel or barista services is considered an asset.
