We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. As the Front of House Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and operational efficiency.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure smooth operations.
Manage the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
Train and mentor staff on customer service best practices, food preparation techniques, and POS system usage.
Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with POS systems and their operation within a restaurant setting.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in interviewing candidates for front-of-house positions is preferred.
A background in cooking or kitchen operations is a plus but not required.
