Job Description
Auscan OHS is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to join our team at a project site in Central British Columbia as a Primary Care Paramedic. This person needs to be a registered PCP in the province of British Columbia. This is a fly-in position with transport to and from the job site arranged and paid for you, and accommodations on site will be provided. Shift blocks run 14 days on, 14 days off. This position will be a casual contract position. The following are the main duties the successful candidate can expect to perform:
- Perform daily inspections of all work sites
- Organize and conduct daily toolbox and weekly safety meetings with all personnel.
- Perform and record safety training .
- Conduct investigations of health, safety and environmental incidents.
- Prepare job safety (or hazard) analyses and risk assessments as needed.
- Display safety leadership and enhance the safety culture.
- Participate in environmental, health and safety audits as requested.
- French not required
- 12 hour shift
