Job Description

Monday to Friday: Hours are approximately from 12pm to 5pm (flexibility is a must). Pay is based per delivery item and postal code of the destination. A typical day is between five to eight deliveries. Pay scales to be provide during interview.

Applicant will be using their own vehicle and compensated accordingly. SUV's are ideal.

Preference given to person living in Grimsby

Smoking around product or in vehicles is strictly not permitted. This position is not suitable for smokers.

Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and professional Floral Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting floral arrangements to various locations in the Grimsby, Lincoln and Hamilton regions ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on friendliness, communication, as well as efficient and safe handling of flowers.

Responsibilities



Safely operate their own vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, Ensure accurate delivery of products, and verifying orders arrive in good condition Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to prevent accidents or damages Report any delivery issues promptly to supervisors

Qualifications



Valid standard driver's license with a clean driving record is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Physical ability to safely lift floral arrangements regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is desirable but not mandatory Ability to work independently, follow routes efficiently, and adhere to safety protocols
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $40.00-$150.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
