Florist Shop Store Assistant
Job Description
Canadiana Flowers is a full-service floral and gift provider in Scarborough, servicing the GTA and surrounding areas. Family owned and operated for over 50 years, we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and the best in floral design and quality.
We are currently looking for an energetic Shop Assistant to join our team 3 to 4 days/ week, including some Saturdays & Sundays) at our locations at 3087 Kingston Road . This is an exciting opportunity to work in an extremely diversified, and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Flower care: cut flower processing and maintenance, plant maintenance, etc.
Merchandise incoming stock
assist on site with installations for weddings, corporate events, special projects
Prepare and wrap customer orders for delivery
Maintain a clean and safe working space
Job Requirements:
Willing to work weekends and stay later than scheduled time depending on volume of business, holidays, special events, etc. Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs for short distances Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Team-player with a positive and friendly demeanor Detail oriented, focused, and committed to long-term employment
Canadiana Flowers is open seven days a week. Please advise of your schedule availability in the body of your application - availability on some Saturdays & Sundays is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.35-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
