NOW HIRING - Florist

Position Summary:

Galbraith Florists is looking for a full-time Florist who can design, create, and sell standard and customized floral arrangements to customers. The Florist is an individual who is passionate about flowers and is responsible for assisting customers on floral arrangement selections, wrapping completed floral arrangements, unpacking, and organizing deliveries, keeping displays fresh, and ensuring that the floral shop is clean and well-organized.

To be successful as a Florist, this individual must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and floral design to ensure customer satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

General customer services. Participate in consultations with customers. Process flowers and care for plants. Assemble arrangements and bouquets suitable to multiple budgets and occasions. Assist customers with product selection. Assist in floral design for wedding work. Make floral deliveries. Assist with the cleanliness of work areas. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients. Thrive in a busy work environment and demonstrate initiative in meeting project goals. Ability to learn new tasks. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management

Requirements:

- Proficient language skills

Customer service experience considered an asset.

Experience in the floral industry required.

Clean driving record.

Creative and artistic eye.

Positive attitude.

Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Note: This position may involve working on weekends or holidays depending on the demand for floral services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
