Job Description
Homestead Nurseryland is a locally owned 3 acre garden centre /florist located in Abbotsford. We are open twelve months of the year and seven days a week. We have been growing and selling beautiful plants and all the accompanying associated garden products and flowers for over 30 years in the Fraser Valley. We are currently looking to find a floral designe for our florist department.The position requires a passion for flowers, plants and people. We want an individual who can offer our customers a fun and great sales experience while helping them with their floral and tropical needs. The ability to create beautiful floral designs as well as tropical dish gardens and planters. Qualifications and skills - Previous floral experience is required - Experience in floral maintenance and floral design -Tropical plant knowledge and care - Excellent customer service skills is a must - Able to work as a team player with others - Able to work independently unsupervised - Mature attitude good work ethic - able to work weekends - able to operate a cash register as required - familiar with basic computer programs and functions - Fluent english spoken and written Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits:
