POSITION: Floral Designer GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: The floral designer in the flower shop is responsible for providing service in a manner consistent with Ryerse Garden Gallery service standards to ensure overall customer satisfaction. In doing so, the employee welcomes new and existing customers to the store, processes customer transactions, responds to immediate service requirements in an efficient, courteous manner and identifies opportunities to promote and sell products and services. DUTIES INCLUDE: Designing fresh and everlasting arrangements for custom orders, in-house sales, creative designs for store displays. Pricing and display of cut flowers and floral supplies. Assisting customers whenever possible. Receiving, pricing, and displaying store merchandise. Stock maintenance \xe2\x80\x93 replenish stock from storage area. Customer service both one on one and telephone communication is critical when dealing with customers\xe2\x80\x99 empathetic situations. Booking orders for delivery. Perform cashier duties. Processing flowers using proper procedures. Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a retail floral setting. Wage negotiable and dependent on experience and performance. Full time.
