We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, including experience with various materials and techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installations that meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools.

Responsibilities

Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations. Apply caulking and finishing touches to ensure a polished final product. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation. Knowledge of caulking techniques and finishing processes. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
