Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and possess a strong understanding of various flooring materials and techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas, ensuring precise dimensions. Install various types of flooring, including tile, laminate, hardwood, and vinyl. Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and installation requirements. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing flooring materials. Apply caulking as needed to ensure a clean finish around edges and seams. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or in a related maintenance person or carpentry role. Strong knowledge of flooring installation techniques and materials. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.01-$25.00 per hour
