Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring installation techniques, including tile laying and the use of hand tools. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installations that meet our clients' specifications and expectations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

Responsibilities

Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment. Lay out flooring according to blueprints or design specifications. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes. Apply caulking and finishing touches to ensure a polished final product. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process and provide solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.

Requirements

Proven experience in flooring installation or related maintenance person/carpentry work. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to flooring installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
