Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to to join our team as a Foreman. In this position, you will be responsible for driving a company van and mentoring an installation helper. You will be installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on lead role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Duties:

- Mentor your helper and instruct on installation practices
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific dimensions
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling subfloor, and cleaning surfaces
- Install flooring materials such as vinyl plank/tile, laminate & hardwood
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure flooring materials in place
- Apply adhesive, caulk, or other necessary materials to ensure proper installation
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow installation instructions
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Skills:
-Driver's License REQUIRED
- Carpentry skills
- Work Order reading
- Flooring installation techniques
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Caulking expertise
