Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and related construction skills. This role involves working with various flooring materials, ensuring quality installation, and providing excellent service to our clients. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for utilizing hand tools and larger floor grinding and shot blasting equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

Install various types of flooring, include epoxy, MMA, urethanes, self leveling cements, repair cements and resins, Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the installation process. Perform caulking and sealing of flooring, covebase, thick and thin mil coating systems, as well as assisting experienced team leaders on projects Some projects require taking safety courses like SkyTrain, or other locations as needed. You will need steel toed shoes and suitable neat clothing, and cell phone. Required to lift 50- 80 lbs bags of leveling cements as needed for projects, as well as 5 gal pals with coating product in them.

Skills

Proficient in flooring installation techniques, including floor and wall coatings. Strong knowledge of construction practices and able to work on jobsites following rules and regulations of each site. Ability to problem solve when working alone, but with guidance from Omni project manager. Experience with heavy labor, as on some projects there is heavy work, including use of jackhammers to remove existing flooring and concrete. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. A commitment to safety practices on the job site. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
